Keeping with a retro style, Umbro have come up trumps again and have created a very stylish England shirt which the team will wear in the first of their Euro 2012 qualifiers this Friday.
The theme from Umbro is ‘The New Fabric of England’ which aims to include everyone in the beautiful game and with the England kit superbly designed and available in mens, womens, kids and mini-kits, we reckon they will achieve that.
Designed by Peter Saville, the new England shirt has been well thought out and has some new additions. Turn the new England shirt over and on the back you’ll see that St George flags have been discreetly added to the shoulders.
Umbro say “Draped across the shoulders of the new shirt, the fabric print sees players and fans carrying the hopes of the nation with them wherever they go. Players names will appear within the fabric, to underline how they’re a part of the fabric of modern England. The shirt itself is inspired by the formal designs in England’s past, combined with the latest in design innovation.”
Another cracking England shirt from Umbro and has they’ve got the license to create England shirts until at least 2018, we’ll get to see at least another two shirts for the World Cups in 2014 and 2018.

Shorts for the new England kit are all blue with the socks white with a blue band around the top and on the heel – see the England Goalkeeper shirt, shorts and socks.
